MEET Maya Morales, GALLERY INTERPRETER
Maya Morales (she/her) is a Gallery Interpreter at the Natural History Museum of LA County. Her favorite topics lie in the intersection between natural and cultural history, exploring how landscapes and people are intertwined. Before she comes into work, she’s often surfing or playing in the Pacific Ocean. She has a passion for the natural world, stemming from her childhood in the National Park Service which led her to pursue a career in advocating and educating for more just and intersectional environmental education spaces.
